OBJECTIVE
Pick a major problem we face and figure out a way to solve that problem through an interactive interface. Then go on to design this interface from the ground up, starting with user journeys and ending with a fully flushed-out product.
SOLUTION
The problem I picked was food waste, a huge issue in America and worldwide. I created an app that would help people track their food and avoid wasting it. The app tracks expiration dates and alerts the user when something is about to spoil, while suggesting recipes using ingredients the user already has. The visuals are meant to be friendly, calming and inviting.
